Streacom NC1 Fanless Aluminium Chassis for Intel NUC

Designed for the Next Unit of Computing (NUC) platform, the NC1 delivers silent computing in an incredibly small package.

Introducing the Streacom chassis designed for Intel’s NUC systems and as one would expect it is manufactured primarily from aluminium, which is in direct contact with the NUC’s CPU. This allows the NC1 to cool the CPU without the need for a fan, transforming it into a truly silent system. Furthermore, the aluminium panels are all beautifully sandblasted which giving the NC1 the most elegant look when it comes to housing the tiny PC!

The chassis is modular, which means the front, rear and CPU cooler parts of the chassis can be replaced to accommodate future NUC motherboards. It also features an acrylic sides that allow for the internal WiFi and Bluetooth signals to propagate, keeping the outside sleek and clutter free. An optional VESA compatible mount allows it to be hidden behind the monitor, but with looks like this surely it needs to be on display.

Product differences

There are two version of the NC1 chassis, the GK and the CK. The GK is compatible with the following motherboards, D33217GKE (featuring the Core i3-3217U CPU) and DCP847SKE (featuring the Celeron 847 CPU). These are the exact same motherboards in the i3 and Celeron NUCs available from our website. So if you are looking to upgrade one of the NUCs purchased from us the GK is the version to go for.

The CK is only compatible with the D33217CK motherboard which also features the Core i3-3217U CPU. Quiet PC have never sold a NUC which has this motherboard so please confirm which motherboard your NUC has before purchase.

The reason they are different is because the ports on the back of the motherboards differ. The images below show the differences. [imageline]
